For founders building with Claude Code

You built it with Claude Code. Let's get it safely to real users.

Building is the easy part now. Shipping safely isn't. You keep building; I bring the structure that stops it falling over in front of your first customers.

What usually goes wrong

None of this shows up while you're the only user. All of it shows up soon after you aren't.

Login and permissions

Authentication that works, but that nobody on the team could explain. Users who can see, or change, each other's data.

Data exposure

Database rules left open, API keys shipped to the browser, personal data where it shouldn't be, and no idea what that means under the GDPR.

No tests, no safety net

Every change risks breaking something that worked yesterday, and you only find out when a user tells you.

Releases and recovery

No staging, no rollback, backups that have never been restored, and no error tracking to tell you something's wrong.

Two ways to work together

Start here

Launch-readiness audit

A structured review of your app: security weaknesses, user experience flaws and code health. You get findings ranked by severity, fix guidance written so you or Claude Code can act on it directly, a prioritised plan, and a walkthrough call. The scope is agreed on a free 20-minute call first.

Ongoing

Monthly support

You keep building, and I review what matters: security on each significant change, a test plan and user testing before launches, a release checklist, architecture advice when you're about to make a decision that's hard to undo, and a regular call. A reserved block of hours each month.

This isn't an app-building service: you stay the builder, and you get better at it. Indicative prices for both.

The method behind it

I wrote down how I work with Claude Code in a free guide to AI-assisted software development: brainstorm, document, execute, audit. It's how someone without a computer science degree can ship production software without wrecking it, and it's the structure I bring to your project.

I use it on my own work. NodeGX, an open-source visual app builder, was developed with Claude Code over about a hundred documented phases.

Talk about your app

Tell me what it does, what it's built with, who's using it (or about to), and what worries you most.

It comes straight to me. I use your details only to reply. See the legal notice.
